Raised in Washington D.C., makeup artist Sara Glick began her career in 2001 by, as she describes, ‘being in the right place at the right time in New York City'. After completing her Bachelors Degree in Cultural Studies at The New School University in the West Village, she met Charlotte Tilbury, the London cosmetics maven, who first introduced her to the idea of becoming a professional makeup artist. After assisting Ms. Tilbury, Sara realized her passion for beauty and began to develop her own unique approach to painting faces. Her philosophy translates to any face, aligning her versatility with an intelligent and modern sense of beauty because everyone deserves to look their best. Her aesthetic, as she puts it, is "a little less than something and a little more than nothing."
After more than 15 years in the business, Sara’s fresh and refined techniques have been sought after by some of the world’s most talented photographers today, such as Steven Pan, Hilary Walsh, Olivia Bee, Sebastian Kim, Jason Nocito, Cass Bird, Ben Rayner, Daniel Arnold, Billy Kidd, Viki Forshee, Eric Guillemain and Tim Barber. She has also worked with brands like Alexander Wang, Christian Dior Cosmetics, Kate Spade, Adidas, Reebok, Opening Ceremony, Rag and Bone, Nike and Levis. Her talents can also be found on the faces in select publications such as Vogue, Jalouse, Harper’s Bazaar, French Glamour, i-d, Teen Vogue, Purple, Dazed, Shape and Cosmopolitan.
She currently travels the globe but lays her head in Brooklyn, NY.
